At Ashe Foundation, we see this every day. An example: in a Maasai community in Tanzania, women decided to collectively raise money for a small solar energy installation. Initially, their savings circle seemed modest, but over time they were able to invest in solar panels that brought light and electricity to their children's school. It started with coins, it ended with opportunities for education.

Or take donors in the Netherlands who give a small amount every month. One person may not be able to fund an entire water pipeline, but together they finance complete infrastructure. And that changes an entire community.
